The 2009 season marks an important year for the Renegades—one led by a change in the way we look when we step onto the field.
While maintaining the traditions that make the Renegades a world-class performing arts group with a twist, a uniform change is being implemented for the 2009 season to enhance this year's show design and bring about a renewed sense of our identity. Since the corps first stepped onto the field in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2002, we have used the same uniforms. Many of those very uniforms are now in a state of disrepair. So, after many months of discussion and countless hours of late-night brainstorming sessions, the design team created a uniform that will make all Renegades—past, present and future—proud!
The Facts: The cost of each new uniform is $200. We cannot accomplish this without your help. To turn this dream into a reality, we need the assistance of our most valued and trusted supporters: YOU! We understand that these are economically challenging times. Therefore, in order to reach our goal, we have established a Uniform Capital Campaign to help make this dream a reality.
As a way of thanking you for your generosity, when you send in your donation of $200 or more, we will honor your generosity by having you place your very own personal message in each new uniform: a congratulatory message to a current performer, in someone's honor, or simply your name—you decide. You will also receive a letter of thanks from one of the original 7 Renegades! (Sorry, no ham sandwich included!).

Funding a world-class non-profit performing arts organization and full-sized drum and bugle corps is not for the faint of heart. Our amazing members pay their own way, and it is not cheap. On top of that, it takes a world-class staff to put out the great performances that our fans deserve. And that takes money. Our main sources of revenue - fundraising and member fees - are not enough to meet the cost of traveling across the country to perform.
Basically, we need your help! More than ever we need you to support the Renegades. No contribution is too small. (But we really like the big ones, too). Plus, every contribution sends a message to other potential donors that people believe in what we do, and that our community supports us. Best of all, most (if not all) of your contribution is tax deductible.
You can give in many ways. You can join the Renegades as a member of the 2007 corps by paying dues of $250. Or you can write us a check. Or, even better, just click a button. If you so desire, you can designate your gift to a certain area of interest (brass, percussion or guard), or to an individual member to help them participate in the Renegades.
Your gift will be acknowledged promptly, and we will go out of our way to make you feel like a big shot.
We may even let you ride Mistress Kelli's bicycle.
