| Preparing for your Finals night performance, you feel excited and nervous as you come on the field, surrounded by the friends you have made over the course of the season. Do you miss that feeling? Or, if you have never experienced it, do you want the feeling of marching in a Finalist Drum Corps? The San Francisco Renegades have been offering that experience to their members since 2002. March with us! The San Francisco Renegades Drum & Bugle Corps has firmly established ourselves as one of the most exciting and unique all-age drum corps in the world - Finalists in every appearance at the World Chamionships. And we're looking for new members! Where do we perform? For the 2010 season, we'll be thrilling crowds at numerous west coast drum corps shows and parades. In addition, we have two major tours to the East Coast for shows and for the Drum Corps Associate Championships in Rochester, NY over Labor Day weekend. Who can march? Renegades typically range in age from 18 to 60. Previous drum corps, high school or college marching band experience is highly recommended, but not required. How much time does it take? During the winter we have weekend camps every few weeks. Once the summer season hits we rehearse and/or perform most weekends. And people generally scream, stand and treat us like rock stars! Our online calendar shows our entire season. |

How much does it Cost to be a Renegade? Dues for one year is $350, along with a fundraising commitment. We also have a monthly student payment plan. While touring, hotel rooms are typically $25 a night for a room of four. Members are also expected to purchase their own shoes and black "bibber" pants (typically $30 each). OK, I'm interested. How do I check it out? The best way to see what we're about is to show up at our next rehearsal. You can also write us at join@renegades.org and let us know you're interested. |
