Scott Hartman has become one of the San Francisco Bay Area's leading horn players. He has performed many times with leading ensembles, including the San Francisco Symphony, Midsummer Mozart, San Jose Symphony, Merola (SF) Opera, and the Moscow Chamber Orchestra.

He has also done radio and TV work, and teaches at his home in San Jose. He left Apple Computer in 1998 to become a full time musician. He has studied with Chicago Symphony legend David Krehbiel and Joseph Singer while in college, and recently with SF Symphony's Bob Ward.
