Look at those angles! The Renegades color guard wins 'most improved' section for the season.

Spin, spin, spin....

"LOUD is......Great! GOD, When I went to see them, I was wearing glasses, when I left I had contacts! Whew!"

The lucky few who saw Renegades last performance of the season enjoy the corps' famous 'Wall of Sound' and incredible energy.

After spinning rifles for Mambo, the colorguard switches to flag for Grovers and OMT.

Renegades come in all sizes. Talented mini-bass drum Meiko concentrates on the show.

The view is always the same for French Horns...their Bell!

Show me your 'Double B' and I'll show you mine.

Ready. Aim. FIRE!!

Do you see your drill spot in this picture? If not, YOU should be in Renegades 2002!

Chris describes his first experience playing soprano during a show (thank you Larrie for allowing Chris to grab your horn when his mellophone broke seconds before his big "InfiniTrill" solo).

I just won DCI-Pacific Senior Division, and now I'm going to DisneyLand!

Chaos erupts as the 2001 Renegades celebrate after taking their end-of-season photo.

Renegades Drinking Game
(submitted by Brian 'Spice Rack')

Take a shot when…

• Lead sops hang over (one shot per two seconds over)
• Mellophones play do-WAHhhh [breathe] do-WAHhhh.
• Colorguard spins.
• Colorguard spins equipment: drink two.
• Cadets play generic drum set ensemble parts.
• Baris interpret the downbeat the same as the drumline.
• SCV choreograph knee bends and pelvic thrusts.
• One drum major interprets the downbeat the same as the other drum major.
• The Renegades are louder than the corps on the field, from 400 feet away.
• The contras weight drops below a ton without their instruments (ton-o-fun).
• When BD goes the entire season undefeated until they take third at finals.
• Drink 7 shots when your name is on 'the list'.
• When Madison…oh, nevermind.

It looks like Len is doing the classic, "Pull my finger." routine, but he and Rachael are actually celebrating the end of the season with a stylish dance.

The Renegades are so loud, they blew my hair off!

The 2001 Renegades and staff (and the Impulse volcano) celebrate the end of a phenomenal season. A special thank you to all our fans - it was truly a year to remember.
