Retreat was a great time to make new friends and to renew old acquaintances.

The DCA Championships were opened by the combined honor guards of the
Finalists - led by Renegades Captain Al Cunningham.

Capping the DCA weekend, retreat was a colorful reminder of what we all
love about drum corps!

Visual staffer and Upper Lead Sop James Jackson sports his Renegades 2002
Member patch.

The most notorious party in the history of Drum and Bugle Corps - Pizza

Thanks to the great folks at Hanover Area High School, the Renegades had
a great rehearsal facility.

Gorgeous Guard members Linda Kim and Jessica Sia put a smile on the face

The Renegades won Best Contrabass section at DCA - was it due to the Uncle
Fester look?

Yes, the Renegades Cymbal line fronted the corps at retreat!

The bass drum line poses in front of their 7 Basses - arranged in a tower
visible from everywhere on the field at retreat.

That is not a trick of the flash - Evil Sop Ben Ronick wore red contact
lenses for his performance!!

The Renegades Cymbal ensemble showed up for Individuals with a police
escort and 7 burly bald bodyguards.

The Honor Guard displays the colors in our prelim performance of America
the Beautiful.
"Whoever missed [Renegades]
missed something wonderful ...my pick for the most entertaining corps
of the evening."
-- Leo

This California Flag, which was a fixture at Blue Devil retreats in the
80s, now flies high for the Renegades.

Three of the largest men in the corps in one cramped row of airline seating
- oh well - it could have been worse - we could have ridden BUSSES to
DCA!!
