April 25th, 2004 was a spectacular day in San Francisco. The weather was perfect, and the drum corps converged on Herbst Theater to team up with some of San Francisco's most dynamic musical ensembles. From the controversy of Krenshaw and the Punk Rock Orchestra to the raw power of the Renegades 2004 debut, the Loud Music Symposium 5 truly had something for everybody!

The Renegades Honor Guard began the show with the presentation of the colors and the Star-Spangled Banner performed by Joey Pero.
