March 13, 2005 - Our first appearance in the San Francisco St. Patrick's Day Parade and we actually won! Thank you to St. Mary's for NOT showing up.
Kelly, Carol, and Tiffany await the subway on their way to the begining of the parade.
Jim and Nancy share some drum corps memories with one of the Renegade-for-a-day guests.
Say Greeeeeeen!
Have we mentioned the snare line has serious chops this year?
Jan, Garry & Evil Olivia visited us all the way from Vegas!
In the spirit of St. Patrick's day, a few members of the hornline break out into a crowd-pleasing rendition of Danny Boy.
Mistress Kelli demonstrates the elaborate Drop Spin.
Girls with green hats are ALWAYS allowed in the corps, especially if they travelled all the way from Ireland!
Under Carol's guidence, this young lady shows off for her fellow "Girls on Tour". She's a natural.
Fighter Pilot screamin' time.
Got BASS?
Robin spins her "kite" for the parade - darn that SF wind!
The Powell Pit Posse invades the other sections of the corps for a day.
The tenors lay down some rockin' rhythms while warming up for the parade.
Lead Soprano Tiffany sporting her shiny green shamrock.
The Honor Guard led the way down the parade route, proudly wearing their green argyle socks.
We heart the Banner Carriers!!! (Scott is HOT!!!)
Looking sharp in black (as usual), with a hint of green thanks to Stu the Sash Queen. We still don't have a stripe!
Snareline playing the cadence of the day, "That".
Nice straight lines.
Frank Dorrittie just couldn't wait to march in the St. Patrick's Day parade, he took a moment to dazzle the crowd with one of his ever beautiful solos.
Time to recruit for Crunchy Frog.
If you missed out on this one, make sure you join us for the Pride Parade.
Of course, the Renegades had to stop and take moment on SEVENth Street.
The infamous "Helmet Guy" teams up with some of our sopranos to play an Irish Jig.
Check out those rifle angles!
Cramming into a tiny alley at the end of the parade route, the corps pumps up the volume for one final run of the tune...good (and very LOUD) times!
