April 23, 2005 - LOUD MUSIC SYMPOSIUM - The Renegades hosted the 6th annual Loud Music Symposium in the beautiful Herbst Theatre in downtown San Francisco. Opening the evenings performance was the Renegades honor guard proudly presenting the flags while our MC, Adam Rapa, played the Star Spangled Banner with an electric guitar sound via his midi pickup wired trumpet. What a way to start the show!
Adam Rapa

One of the stars of the Tony and Emmy winning Broadway musical "Blast!," Adam was our MC for the evening who entertained the audience with his outstanding personality and stage presence.

The Phenomenauts

The Phenomenauts kicked off LMS6 in LOUD fashion with their unique rocket roll. The band featured an energetic bass player jamming away on a big red string bass as well as keyboardist who spent part of the show playing his toilet paper spewing leaf blower.

Definitely a great way to kick off LMS6.

Rebels of Rythm

The rap duo from Sacramento, Anonymous and KGEE, got the entire audience on their feet as they preformed. For having only a handful of rap fans in the audience, the entire audience could not help but be amazed by these talented performers.

One of the highlights of their performance was hearing KGEE rap in Spanish.

Renegades TNT

The Renegades newest performing group, TNT, exploded onto the stage for their first LMS appearance playing Flintstones, followed by an incredibly laid back arrangement of Moondance, topping off their performance with Lucretia McEvil.

Not a competing group, but a group striving for excellence, TNT let it be known they are full of talented performers, some current Renegade members and others just Renegades.

ReneGuard

Making their LMS debut was a seven member contingent of the ReneGuard, which included a member of the Anti-Pit. Performing to the music of Fleetwood Mac with some great choreography and amazing silks, these ladies where on fire!
