March 11 & 12: Back to Rehearsal Site X - Rain rain go away, come again another day... in this case that was Sunday as the Renegades return to one of our favorite rehearsal site, Treasure Island. One look at the view above and you can see why we love it!

Taking advantage of the lack of rain on Saturday, despite the forecast, the corps was able to get a lot of work done during basics in preparation for learning the soon-to-come drill. As the rain moved in Saturday evening, the corps relocated its rehearsal to a near by Chevy's.

Sunday dawned with continuing rain, but the corps continued it's work with the horn line learned more of the closer as the drums worked on their drum solo. Finishing off the weekend, as the sun returned for the afternoon full ensemble block the horns and drum line had a complete run of the opener... solos and all! In spite of the weather, the Renegades made some great progress this weekend and are looking forward to the next camp!

Jim lead the horn line through warms on this beautiful day.

Larry continues to work with the Sops perfecting the opener.

Off to the field for our new circle drill... incorporating horns, drum, and music!

Another of Mac's ever-challenging basic drills. Full speed ahead!

One of our newest contras, Keith, enjoying a little tail-gating for lunch.

Working through their new music, the drum line joins the horns to work on the opener.

Ready... Aim... FIRE!

CJ... in stealth mode.

Getting together for last block of the day, it's obvious that some folks have different opinions about "cold" weather.

After a long day, some of the we all headed over to Chevy's for some dinner and (of course) Margaritas!

Avoiding the rain, the drum line snags a lovely cover parking lot to warm up in.

Rain... not a problem we'll do parking lot basic. Watch out for the pole! Oh, and that car! Oh, and that wall too!

Braving the harsh conditions the souvie crew is out in full force. SEVEN!

Princess' personal dressers help her into her newest outfit.

Having been escorted out of an unauthorized zone already, the horn line takes shelter in another loading dock to finish working the closer.

The horn line and drums meet up to have a final full run of the opener bringing the camp to a close.
