Who are the San Francisco Renegades?
San Francisco Renegades are a world-class all-age drum and bugle corps with members from all over the country. We have members from all walks of life, from professional actors to engineers to retirees and everything in between.
Why should I donate to the Renegades?
We help the community by bringing music into people’s lives who would not have it otherwise. We also offer positive social benefits by participating in local parades and other civic events around the Bay Area. (We’re also a great source of exercise, so we promote and facilitate good health among our membership!)
How will the money be spent?
Among the corps’ expenses are fees for rehearsal facilities, music licensing, equipment, transportation and wages for our instructional staff and show designers. We depend heavily on donations and grants to help offset these costs.
Is this tax deductible?
Yes! The Renegades are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and we will gladly provide a thank-you letter confirming your donation. These letters can make your deduction tax-deductible, but please check with your tax advisor to confirm.
Please help us promote this campaign!
With your help, the Renegades can continue to set the standard for all-age drum corps now and for years to come. With a dynamic show design and the powerful in-your-face style that the group is known for, we’re going to make the 2012 edition of the Renegades the best the corps has ever put on the field, and it will be thanks to people like you!
You can also help the Renegades a great deal by spreading the word about this Indiegogo campaign. Please post a link to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. The more eyes we have on this site, the more donations we are likely to secure for the corps.
Thanks for helping us make the 2012 Renegades a success. We’ll see you on the field!
