Frequently Asked Questions

Q – Where can I get information on joining the Corps?
A – Check out the Join section of our website!

Q – Who can I contact if I have any questions about the corps?
A – Check out the Contact section of this website.

Q – How much are member expenses?
A – The 2014 member contribution is $900 (or $800 if paid by the “Early Payment” date), and the first installment is due upon your acceptance in the corps. There is also an audition fee of $20.

Q – Where does the money go?
A – It goes to uniforms care, show design, instruction, equipment maintenance, and many other seasonal expenses.

Q – What if I want to march Renegades but can’t afford the member contribution?
A – All members participate in our annual sponsorship campaign, and we will offer other fundraising opportunities throughout the season. However, you may need to find additional ways to raise funds. If you are willing to put in the hard work and hours of practice it takes to travel and perform with the group, then you should also be willing to meet the challenge of fundraising. No matter how you do it, you really do need to come up with a plan and go for it!

Q – What if I’m in high school, can I march Renegades?
A – Absolutely! But, since our season ends after most schools have started, you’ll have to clear it with your high school.

Q – Can my parents help?
A – Yes, in fact, we encourage parent involvement on any level! This includes equipment maintenance, sewing, etc. Maybe your parents just want to come support us at shows, help push equipment, help with logistics, etc. Email us at for details.

Q – I have another question that’s not answered here. What should I do?
A – Just get in touch at the email address listed above. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible…usually within a day or two.
